KanisaYetu allows creation of projects (including setting up targets, automated receipts etc.) and recording of pledges received via mobile phones. The module can be integrated with mobile money platforms to facilitate the automated recording and reconciliation of pledges and amounts given. Additionally, amounts given via other forms such as cash, cheques, bank deposits etc. can be recorded on the platform too. Givers receive automated SMS receipts for each amount recorded thereby enhancing transparency and accountability in the church.
